Sapphire Brick Coffee Table (Coming Soon!)
If you'd like to see the full process of how this table was made, check out the link here: https://youtu.be/5GSyr8kEIEM
This coffee table was made from red oak "bricks" that were evenly spaced within a rectangular mould. The gaps between the bricks were filled with epoxy resin dyed with a sapphire blue transparent pigment. The table top is supported by a pair of x-shaped metal legs on either end and fastened directly into the underside of the table with screws. All surfaces of the tabletop were finished with multiple coats of a hardening wipe-on varnish, making the final product durable and water resistant (but not waterproof).
Availability
This table requires one final coat of finish before it is ready for sale, and we are simply waiting for warmer weather to arrive before doing so. Expect this to be available sometime in late late May/early June.

Care, Cleaning & Maintenance
Although it can be used for function, it should be explicitly stated that this table is primarily an art piece used for decoration. No hot drinks should be placed directly on its surface (always use coasters with soft feet), and it should not be unreasonably loaded (it should not be stood on, sat on, or in any other way used to support heavy weight).
For dust and dry debris, simply use a soft microfiber cloth or towel to clean. If applying water to the towel, be sure to quickly dry the tabletop off once finished. For any light scratches that may develop on the table with prolonged use, the original gloss can be restored by using a medium-to-high gloss wipe on hardening varnish, such as Waterlox's Original Medium Sheen formula.
